Ph.D. defence: A constraint-based understanding of student learning in digital education

Maria Hvid StenaltTeaching-learning interactions are essential to higher education student learning. Universities’ uptake of digital technologies has led many to question if and how digital technologies affect this relation. Maria Hvid Stenalt’s research aims to support this discussion, focusing on the quality of digital interactions from a student perspective. 

Maria Hvid has submitted her dissertation from Aarhus University. She has June 1been employed as a postdoc at the Department for Science Education at the University of Copenhagen. Maria will be part of the existing cross-disciplinary working group, whit the task of gathering experience and disseminating knowledge about digital teaching at the University of Copenhagen. In her research, she examines the quality of digital interactions in teaching from the perspective of students and teachers, and she has developed analytical techniques to examine and understand students' agents in digital interactions.
