Fabiana Kneubil for a 1-year postdoc at IND

Dr. Fabiana Kneubil was granted a fellowship from the Brazilian governmental agency CAPES for a one-year research stay at IND (Ricardo Karam is her academic host). In her postdoctoral research she will conduct an epistemological and historical analysis of the concept of mass, with a special focus on the mass-energy relation. Fabiana plans to investigate both the didactical transposition of this topic as well as conceptualizations of the mass-energy relation manifested by physicists working in different areas. She will be collaborating not only with IND staff members, but also with several researchers at the Niels Bohr Institute and the Niels Bohr Archive.
