Caio Nagayoshi is visiting IND for 3 months

Caio Nagayoshi, PhD student from the University of São Paulo, is visiting IND for three months to collaborate with Sara Green, Claus Emmeche, and others in investigating what biology students get out of philosophy of science courses.

Caio’s main research interest is teaching of philosophy of science and how it can contribute to science education at different levels. In his PhD project, he is conducting an empirical investigation of how philosophy of science courses can influence one’s views about science using quantitative and qualitative methods.
