Paper on teaching published in EJPS
The HPS-group has published a joint paper entitled “Adapting practice-based philosophy of science to teaching of science students” in the European Journal of Philosophy of Science. The paper reflects on our extensive experience with teaching of mandatory philosophy of science courses to science students in different programs at the University of Copenhagen. We discuss the benefits of drawing on research within science education to inform the curriculum, course design and the choice of didactical strategies, and share examples of topics and case studies taught in our courses.
